What is the likeliest type of childhood a young man would have to experience to be consumed with sex and love as opposed to trying to find a healthy relationship?
I think its the result of a need which was not met in childhood from a parent.
You mention maternal figure, but the father figure has an enormous role to play in meeting the childs need growing up. Absolutely massive role. We underestimate it, but a lot of people are now carrying around hurts because of absent or very passive fathers. A lot of self-esteem and “existence” issues are answered (or not answered as the case may be) by Dad.
Anyway, if a father does not give the needed affirmation , then the child will grow up seeking it from others. The person will confuse sex for love so the need is never fulfilled no matter how many partners he/she has.
To overcome: you need to connect to Dad and be healed.
You need to connect to God who is described as “Father” in the Bible.
Pray to him and ask for the emotional fulfillment that only he can give. Thats the only hope.

Can I confess something to you all?
I’m a habitual troll and a worthless piece of crap. You know that. I’ve been flirting with this boy Darren on here for weeks, and he’s threatened to out me so I decided to come clean. If I could write poetry I would write him a love poem. But then, I wouldn’t have to troll either. Help me with my Addiction.
