Fridge sounds like a coffee machine!?
not joking.. i have an emerson mini fridge and every 5 mins or so it sounds like a coffee machine is brewing any ideas on how to fix it? or what it even is?
Clean coffee machine?
I used to use straight vinegar to clean out my coffee machine. I would run it through twice and then run water through it. I never stopped to let the machine cool down. Now I read to use less vinegar and let the machine cool down. What is the purpose of the cool down? Also, I noticed a thick possibly vinegar solution resembling mucus in my machine. Is this the reason you let it cool down in between cleanings? Here are the steps I found today online Add vinegar to the water resevoir until 1 4 full. Fill with water until full.Run the coffee maker.Turn off the coffee maker let cool for 10 minutes.Run the vinegar and water mixture through the coffee maker again. Let cool 10 minutes.Run plain water through the coffee maker let cool 10 minutes, repeat.what is the mucus like substance in the machine? i noticed when i poured the vinegar it seemed to have some thick clumps probably from sitting near my night light.

Under my coffee machine I found worms that are similar in appearance to thread worms, only black. They are about 20 25mm long and black. Anyone have any idea what they are and if they're dangerous?
Foisty smell from water tank of coffee machine . . .?
It's not the actual machine it's the water tank the smell is horrible and is like stale, old, foisty damp kind of smell. I've started emptying the tank after everytime I use it, drying the tank and then leaving it to air but I CANNOT get rid of the smell Anyone know how to? xLike I say, it's NOT the actual machine the machine is absolutely fine it is the water tank which smells . . . . .Erm, I don't understand foisty is actually in the dictionary . . .ATT WORM How the hell can running vinegar through the machine do ANYTHING for the tank? ? ? Remove taste of lubricant grease from coffee machine?
I recently had my LaPavoni Europicola machine serviced. It needed all it's seals replaced and the technician also greased several of the metal pieces in the milk frothing mechanism. Problem is, now everything that comes out of the machine water, coffee, milk smells and tastes like lubricating grease The machine was serviced by a reputable specialist, so they presumably used food grade grease which I thought was supposed to be odourless and tasteless . I've rinsed the machine through with several full cisterns of water, but the nasty taste and smell remains. Any suggestions?
Help! I have used too much descaler in coffee machine?
Ok, so I have emptied a whole packet of descaler mixed with water and run it through my Bosch integrated coffee machine. Now everything tasts of descaler I have used the machine rinse function about 30 times and it's not really helping shift it... any ideas?
