How long does it take a coffee pot plastic handles to burn off?
I want to know how long does it take a espresso pot handles to burn down. The espresso pot had no water in it.My guess is the gas was on a medium heat. My hunch is without water, there was no " action" for the heat to perform to force the water up and because of the metal in the coffee pot, the heat from the gas made the pot hotter and caused the melt down. Any suggestions of web sites that could offer such explanations? Like a fire science web page? thanks.
