Deep sea fishing out of Long Beach?
I would occasionally go deep sea fishing with a family out of Long Beach, but I always used their tackle though I would bring my own pole . That was a few years ago, and am no longer in touch I want to take up deal sea fishing, but I don't remember what tackle we used I know we would always use the bait provided by the boat mostly live bait so the only things we would put on the line were the hooks and weights. The only other thing I remember was a pair of cutting pliers to cut line with, and to help pull the hooks out of the fishes' mouths. I'd like to bring my own tackle, so if anyone is knowledgable enough to give me a list of necessary helpful items including hook sizes and weight of sinkers , I'd really appreciate it
Deep sea fishing- first time?
So I'm going to the beach this spring break with a friend and her family, and their dad usually goes deep sea fishing. He said I could go too, but he wasn't sure about me getting sea sick, so it was questionable. I have never been so I don't know if I would, and I want to know I go to the lake all the time with waves from circles or passing boats jet skis, and gone tubing and it never bothered me, but I know the sea can be much different. I probably can't get any medicine cause I'm 13 and my mom wouldn't allow that.. help? thx and don't tell me 'not to go' Cause I WANT TO GO.
