Hi, Im 18 and 1st year at uni I began gambling online last year (mostly blackjack) progressively it increased.?
I had run 5k up to around 20k over about 3 months then during easter lost 5 grand so tried to get it back ended up making 15 grand profit in a day i was betting a grand a hand looking back this is ridiculous but money had lost value to me . I had 35k in my account now and said I was going to stop at that it took a week to come into my account I ended up losing 30k in an hour and losing 5k a week later. Obviously I was devastated. I had said I would stop gambling countless times and blocked loads of accounts and put limits etc. I have no money now and am going to get real help for my gambling. But I cant stop thinking about what I could have done with the money and how much better the next 4 years of uni could have been. I never even bought a few things I wanted like a ps3, tv etc. Any advice would be appreciated.Thanksps Dont tell me im an idiot or gambling is bad as I am already aware
Do you think its fair customers were banned for using this gambling strategy (details below)?
Okay firstly I work in a pub and we have lots of poker machines. The way the poker machines work is every night, after lots of money has been put in the machines something called the " link" goes off and one customer wins thousands of dollars.However there is a way to predict when the link goes off, im not too sure how, but there customers can roughly tell when. As a result there are certain groups of people who come in every night for about 15 minutes, take the link and the leave. This prevents the locals from winning the money and as a result going home empty handed.One of the managers I work with believed this was unfair and banned them. I personally disagreed, as it was a legitimate and legal strategy. What are your thoughts?
What is the real purpose of the reward card when gambling at a Casino?
Is it really to give you rewards or monitor your winnings?The reason I ask is because I was at a casino and didn't have one. An employee walked up and ask how we were doing and if we had been there before. She said I see you don't have a reward card if you like I can take your info and get you one. So I did and she came back with a card and told me to put it in the machine. I just felt like I was being watched and wondered how she knew I didn't have one in the first place.
I've been gambling and lost a little less than $1500(USD) in 2 years.?
I spent little by little after winning really big sometime along the line in 2 years and I've been keeping records of most of my winning and losings. my net profit turns out to be about between $1000 or $1500 in 2 yearsI don't make a lot of money so I'd spend around couple hundred each month, win a little lose a little the total winds up to the amount i listed above in 2 years.Am i an idiot to spend all these money?I only played poker by the way Sbecause I don't like losing I always try to look back at what i do and try to change and improve. I do a lot more calculating and coordinate a lot of thinking as well so i think i am improving. i'd win couple hundred, lose a couple hundred, win a hundred, lose a hundred. it's like that. it's not like i'll spend a 1000 one night, lose it all, come back following week win 1000. i'd lose a bit win a bit

I don't bet on casinos or play any type of slots.I have been betting sports just for under a year now. I will bet whatever sport is in season football baskettball baseball soccer it doesn't matter as I closely follow all types of sports. I will usually bet 20 25 games a week all single bets. From what I have read an addict is a person who loses large amounts of money. I am actually very careful with my money and I always bet very small amounts usually 2 3 % per bet. And I have actually made a small profit in the short period of time and I believe I can continue to profit. However the rush I get from watching is unbelievable. The main reason I bet is to make money obviously not the rush but I feel like its pulling me deeper and deeper. I have even considered getting help however I was told by multiple people that if I am not losing anything their is nothing to worry about.So to sum it all up am I an addict by getting sucked in even though I am betting small amounts and not losing any money.

first of all im not that briliant at excellin in earthly matters earning a good living so i relied on a bit of outside helphistory i used to win alot of money at gambling. i had a 90 % success rate. i was betting on ternnis matches and football matches, and snooner matches, darts matches, nfl matches etcin my first year i got 50K off a local bookies office through a series of bets caledl stanley racing i eventually goit all the way up to 150K at the height of 6 years workmy best bet was on the NEpats to win the superbowl at the start of the season put 2400 on them in differn t bet shops and eventually won 29,400 however during that season it looked unlikely that they would win as they were up and down and i got really nervous and made a covennet with GOD that i would not make any more bets if he would allow me to collect this final one.I developed a bit of a fascination with antique comic and bought alot of them the trouble was i got greedy and wanted to pay for them with winnings and keep the funds i had already gained, this led to a great downful & through temptation i broke my covenant whihc was a great mistake and kept breaking it and eventually lost all it all. biggest lost at any one time was 7500 on a tennis match i was obvisouly never belssed again after mistaknely making the pact and hopefully this will be my onyl pusnishment in times to come and now to top it all off there is a mega recession, and findign it hard to cut ties with gambling any advices? or tips
