What are your thoughts on Eddie Bravo’s “rubber guard?”?

My personal opinion? As a practitioner of gi-less Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and MMA, I find it extremely effective. It’s quite a bit more aggressive than the traditional BJJ guards, and I find that crucial with the evolution of the sport. Despite its more-than-partial reliance on flexibility, I think it’s an excellent form of guard, and a great way to setup submissions. Kudos to you, Eddie Bravo. In a day where most people are following the herd when it comes to BJJ and MMA, you created a whole new edge to an already extremely effective Martial Art. I will continue to practice my rubber guard techniques for sure, what are your thoughts?

Eddie Bravo has always sworn by his Rubber Guard and its deifently an innovative manover.(only a man who smokes weed with Joe Rogan could come up with it) lol.

Ive tended to notice that people are going for those crazy guards/Submissions Alot more lately, Diaz Gogoplata’in Gomi for instance.
