Best online Merchant Account without all the fees?
I was wanting to look around outside of Paypal and was hoping there might be some people out there who could suggest any merchant account without all of those processing and hold fees. I am just getting started so it will be more establishing than making sales initially and don’t need all the fees while I am in this process. Thank you!
Well if you setup a PayPal or Google Checkout account, there aren’t any fees until you sell. Most merchant accounts want some monthly fee- not PayPal or Google.

Paypal Merchant Account
is it possible to send money from a paypal account straight to a credit/debit card or a PNC bank account?
Hello guys I need some help. I’ve been googling a lot but I couldn’t really come up with the answer.
Im about to start a website where people from my school can offer their textbooks for sale. Long story short, buyers will send me the money to my paypal merchant account and I’m going to need to send those money (minus a certain fee) to the seller. I would like to avoid a physical exchange (check, cash), but I really don’t know how to do it. Is there a way I can send those money to seller’s credit/debit card or bank account straight from my paypal account? Or do I need to send those money to my PNC bank account and then do a wire transfer? What are the fees for PNC acct -> PNC acct wire transfer? And could this process be automated?

yes, I agree, adding those bank accounts is not feasible. However I find writing checks pretty labor intensive too, don’t you think? Isn’t there some better solution? :/
Yes, it is possible to transfer money electronically from your Paypal account directly to a bank account. To do this, every bank account to which you transfer money must be linked to your paypal account. It is best to do this only for your own bank account. In my opinion, it would be far too labor intensive to do this for every one of your customers, and doing so would compromise the security of your customers’ accounts so it is unlikely that your customers would let you link their bank accounts to your paypal account.
A far better solution, in my opinion, would be for your all of your customers to have Paypal accounts, so you can pay them via Paypal. You can always send a check to those who do not have a Paypal account.

Merchant Account Alternative
What is a good alternative to Quickbooks?
I’m wondering if their is a better alternative to Quickbooks. I would like a program that allows you to process credit cards from within the program and has invoicing and customer tracking features. Quickbooks forces you to switch to their Merchant Account to process credit cards inside their program which I don’t want to do.
You may wish to consider Microsoft Office Accounting Professional (or Express) 2007. Test drive it and see if it fits your needs. It was specifically made to compete and take business from Quickbooks!
